Mandated Vision and Hearing Screening Update
Vision and Hearing Screening is completed each year, by school nurses, for students in grades TK/K, 2, 5, and 8 this also includes color vision screening for boys in grade 2. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, screening will not be completed as usual.  Instead, students will be screened if parents, students, or teachers, report that there is concern about the student seeing or hearing well.   The information linked here can help you watch for signs of problems that may show a need to call your child’s doctor or request vision or hearing screening at school.
