Tournament of Champions: Hoops Classic (Basketball)
Calling all 3rd-6th graders! Sign up for the 17th Annual Hoops Classic Basketball Tournament. Play for Cypress Village and compete against other Irvine schools for the city championship on March 25-27, 2022. We need players and coaches.

Transitional Kindergarten (“TK”) / Pre-Kindergarten (“PK”)
Transitional Kindergarten (“TK”) is expanding and evolving beginning next school year to include more students. TK will be now known as Pre-Kindergarten (“PK”). Cypress Village is slated to have a PK class next school year. Information is here on the IUSD’s website, including new birth date and enrollment eligibility, class information, and registration for a virtual info night for interested families 2/24/22.

Cypress Village’s Kindergarten Round-Up information night for 22-23 Kindergarten Families will be in-person at Cypress Village at 6:00PM in our MPR on March 3rd. Please save the date if you’ll have a kindergartner with us next school year!

Donate Clothes and Shoes
Cypress Village is thrilled to partner with US’Again and to have an UsAgain Tree Machine box on our campus. This is a great and convenient way for you to donate your used clothing and shoes and to help the environment at the same time. US’Again takes these donations and gives them a new life, keeping them out of landfills and even plants a tree every time we fill the bin. Thank you for your participation in this great recycling program!

The Irvine Children's Fund (ICF) is announcing the kick off and celebration of the 33rd ANNUAL IRVINE JUNIOR GAMES (IJG), which will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the Irvine High School Stadium.
The Irvine Junior Games celebrates its 33rd year, and its continued growth and success because of the partnership between the IUSD, the Irvine Child Care Project, the Irvine Children's Fund, and the Irvine Junior Games. There continues to be 100% participation from all the elementary and middle schools with more than 1,200 students in grades 4-8 participating in the track and field events, including special events for the Adaptive P.E. students.
As this is a fundraising event for child care at Irvine school sites there will be a $40 charge to each participating athlete, which will include the athlete's participation and an IJG T-shirt. See the website for details about events students can participate in.

- Coming Soon – Innovative Grants Program Awards
- This year we changed up the format of our Innovative Grants Program in honor of IPSF’s 25 anniversary and will be awarding 25 schools with up to $10,000 each! Grant recipients will be announced later this month – follow us on social media for the latest! Innovative Grants are funded in large part through the Parents Appreciating Teachers and Staff (PATS) program, which will launch in March. More info to come, thank you in advance for spreading the word to your school community regarding these grants and the impact that parents can make with a gift to PATS!
