Intent To Return (including 6th Graders)
In order for Cypress Village and IUSD to plan for the 2022-23 school year, it is important that we understand your intentions for your child’s schooling for next year. Please click on this link: Intent to Return and it will direct you to the Aeries Parent Portal. From here, please log in and it will send you directly to the Intent to Return form. Once on the Intent to Return screen, click on the “+Add” button on the right hand side and this is where you will respond to only a few questions. If you need additional “how to” assistance in this process, please click here.

We ask that this be completed no later than March 25, 2022

We greatly appreciate your attention to this quick Intent to Return survey. This initial step is vital for our planning and we thank you for completing this necessary step.

Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten (“TK”) is expanding and evolving beginning next school year to include more students. TK will be now known as Pre-Kindergarten (“PK”). The age requirement for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K), for the 2022-2023 school year includes children who will turn 5 years of age between September 2 - February 2. At this time, Cypress Village is slated to have one PK class for the 22-23 school year. Information is here on the IUSD’s website including new birth date and enrollment eligibility, and class information.

New Communication Tool
Cypress Village is very excited to pilot a new communication platform. ParentSquare is designed to keep our staff and parent community informed and facilitate participation at school. It provides a safe way for the school principal, teachers, staff, and parents to receive messages and alerts from the school, see calendar items, sign up to volunteer, and much more… all in one centralized place! While we remain in the testing phase, you will continue to receive communication in School Messenger and from ParentSquare. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we pilot this tool through the end of the school year. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
