Foam Party - (TK, Kinder, 1st Grade, & 4th Grade)
Dear Cypress Village Families,
Congratulations to the winners of the Jog-a-thon pledge contest (TK, Kinder, 1st Grade, 4th Grade)! The Cypress Village PTA are excited to announce that we have scheduled and set the date for the Foam Party. In coordination with Cypress Village Staff, we have set June 3rd. Below is the set schedule for each of the grades parties. To avoid classroom distraction from being wet, each party is either after school or at the end of school.
Foam Party Times:
TK/Kindergarten AM/PM: 11:25-11:55pm
4th Grade: 12:40-1:05pm
1st Grade: 1:20-1:40pm
As we approach the Foam Party date we have further details and instructions. Congratulations and thank you for your continued support of the Cypress Village Elementary PTA.

Cyberbullying and Digital Drama:
Keeping Kids Safe, Happy, and Healthy in the Digital Age
In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, the Orange County Department of Education Bullying Prevention Program will be hosting a virtual parent presentation focused on social media trends, information literacy, privacy and security, addressing and reporting cyberbullying, and parent/child communication. In our ever-changing world with a lot of time being spent on digital devices, it is important to keep the conversation going about what parents can do to support their children in the complex environment of online learning and socializing.
Cyberbullying and Digital Drama: Keeping Kids Safe, Happy, and Healthy in the Digital Age will be held via Zoom on May 17, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. CLICK HERE for additional information. Young Masters Art Show
For the 32nd year, the Assistance League of Irvine presents the 2022 Young Masters Art Show! IUSD Art teachers have selected one piece of art from every K-6 grade classroom, for a total of 735 masterpieces. This year’s exhibit is themed “Discover the Stories of Orange County” featuring various student drawings and paintings of vibrant landscapes, wildlife, self-portraits, and much more. The virtual exhibit is located on the District’s website for our students, parents, and community members to enjoy. The Young Masters Art Show NewsFlash is posted on our district website. PATS Supports Grants for Irvine Schools
You may have recently seen Irvine Public Schools Foundation’s announcement of their 2022 Innovative Grants Program awards. Cypress Village has been fortunate to receive IPSF grants in the past, and we look forward to the opportunity to apply again in the future. These grants have the power to bring amazing ideas to life and continue to keep our school and district on the leading edge of innovative teaching and learning! The Innovative Grants Program is an easy way to show our teachers, nurses, and staff how much we appreciate all that they do! For a small donation, IPSF provides the teachers and staff of your choice a certificate of appreciation, which includes a personal message from your family.
