Lunch With Someone Special
We are excited to bring back this special event! This Wednesday, February 5th, we invite you to eat lunch with your child, picnic style on the soccer field. Bring a blanket, chairs, and/or canopy and enjoy some quality time with your child. Here are a few helpful details about the day:

Families will eat lunch together during their scheduled lunch time. TK parents are invited to join their child during their recess from 10:15-10:35AM on the Kindergarten Playground.

Kindergarten (all on AM Schedule): 11:20AM

1st/2nd Grade: 11:20-12:00PM

3rd/4th Grade: 12:00-12:40PM

5th/6th Grade: 12:40-1:20PM

Plan ahead: Restaurants will be crowded. If you are bringing food for your child, plan for some crowds. This is a popular event.

All families will be setup on the soccer field, so please coordinate with your child. For instance, if you are bringing a canopy, tell your child to look for it. Parents will not meet students at classroom doors. Students will be walked out to lunch by teachers. By keeping families in one area, we are providing a safe environment for our students. Thank you in advance!

Students must return to class at the end of their lunch.

Parents do not need to check in with the office since all parents will be on the soccer field.

If you are unable to attend, don’t worry! We have our IPD DARE Officer visiting throughout the events, as well as some of our community firefighters. In addition, Rainbow Rising and the City of Irvine will be out at lunch to visit and play with the students.
