Greetings Parents,
As we prepare to open the year in a distance learning model, we wanted to provide you with some information on gaining access to a Chromebook and/or textbooks for your student. In the Learning Model Selection Survey, you were asked about your student’s device needs. Whether you opted into Irvine Virtual Academy or chose one of the on-campus learning models, we will check out a Chromebook and/or textbooks to you from Cypress Village Elementary.
Our school will be checking out devices and textbooks on the following days:
We ask that you please arrive at your designated time and wear a mask while on campus.

If you miss your checkout window you can attend a Make-Up time-block as identified above.

Our checkout will be operating via a walk-up method. Staff has made every effort to sanitize devices. We will strive to maintain social distancing, and will be wearing appropriate PPE.

In order to maintain social distancing and to keep the number of people waiting to a minimum, we ask that you keep the number of people in your party as small as possible.
IVA families: We will be distributing Chromebooks only. There are no textbooks; all curriculum is online. Additional IVA materials are being distributed within the first few weeks of school.
Kindergarten families: Chromebooks will be distributed. Textbooks and additional learning materials will be distributed on August 20th. Please watch for communication from your child's teacher.

You will be required to show a Driver’s License with the name of the parent or guardian that is identified on the Parent Portal.

Devices will not be given out to those whose name is not on the Parent Portal as a Parent/Guardian or to those who do not have identification.

Please print and complete the Parent/Student Information Form and bring the completed form with you at your assigned time.
The District will also be offering an optional insurance program for the device in case you are worried about damage or theft while the device is in your student’s possession.
